Senior Project Manager - Engineering , you will be counted on to lead and coordinate projects across their lifecycle, manage complex programs, and drive successful outcomes for clients and HDR.
Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out) Manage large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with a high degree of technical complexity, involving a large project staff Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with other staff and stakeholders Coordinate staffing and workload through the project life cycle and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate and adjust work effort to stay within budget and schedule Collaborate with Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews Implement QA/QC procedures Supervise large project staffs and mentor less-experienced Project Managers Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree PMP certification Experience managing projects for Federal Clients Strong track record of excellent client service and strong CPARS ratings Experience developing and managing diverse teams Willingness to travel including overnight trips Commitment to HDR’s core values of quality work and continuous improvement Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering 10 years related experience A minimum of 5 years project management experience Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., PE or P.Eng) MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience a plus) Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills Active participation in HDR’s employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe
