The
Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting
will play a critical role in reporting and accounting for global pension and post-retirement benefits as well as WHQ reporting. The person in this role will work closely with Treasury, Benefits, Financial Planning & Analysis, external auditors, external consultants and local finance teams across the globe to ensure benefit costs and WHQ costs are accurately forecasted and reported. This position will perform technical accounting and SEC research in order to provide management with timely information for decision-making and analysis. The person in this role will also assist in other significant projects including the annual benefit plan audits and other ad hoc projects which vary based on the Company’s business transactions and priorities. What’s on the menu? Preparing SEC disclosures for inclusion in Forms 10-Q and 10-K Collaborating with local finance teams across the globe to ensure benefit-related impacts are recorded accurately at the local level Monitoring global benefit plan expenses and balance sheet positions through the Company’s consolidation applications used for external reporting Assist with budgeting for benefit-related charges Recording journal entries for benefit plans and WHQ services Preparing benefit plan financial statements Loading and reviewing insurance captive financials Researching technical accounting matters Monitoring US GAAP and SEC developments and evaluating the impacts of new accounting and reporting rules Working with external auditors Assisting in projects relating to M&A activity, accounting and reporting as they become necessary Recipe for Success – apply now if this sounds like you! Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations Minimum of 2 years of experience; some public accounting with emphasis in SEC engagements preferred Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects, while effectively operating in a fast-paced, complex global organization with shifting schedules and priorities Detail-oriented Experience with SAP, Hyperion Financial Management, and Workiva a plus Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills Ability to work efficiently and achieve results, while maintaining high quality Excellent analytical, teamwork, customer service and leadership skills Experience in pension and post-retirement accounting a plus but not a requirement Kraft Heinz offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 7% 401(k) matching, and more. $88,000.00 - $110,000.00 Bonus:
