Description : We are seeking a financial planning and analysis professional to develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts. The ideal candidate will perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance, gather and analyze data, and provide recommendations for financial plans and operating forecasts.
SALARY RANGE : $100,000 - $120,000 per year. In determining compensation, various factors will be considered, including educational background, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, market factors, and geographic location.
GENERAL SUMMARY : This role involves developing financial concepts, performing technical analysis, and providing analysis of balance sheets and cash flow statements. The successful candidate will prepare reports of findings and recommendations to leadership and coordinate large amounts of data.
LOCATION : West Bethesda, MD
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide oversight and assistance with monthly Dormant Account Review (DAR-Q) and research outstanding obligations in ADVANA.
Submit requests in the Purchase Request Tool (PRT) for financial review and approval.
Develop project-tracking procedures, monitor direct labor spending, and verify financial expenditures.
Support and improve the Monthly Financial Review (MFR) process and build relationships with key users.
Prepare and consolidate various scheduled and ad-hoc analyses and reports.
REQUIRED CAPABILITIES :
Ability to work independently and make judgments.
Intermediate MS Excel skills and knowledge of MS Office suite software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data organization skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
Continuous improvement mindset.

Strong Excel skills with other system experience.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or graduate degree with 0-2 years of experience.
