Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Job Description

Perform quality work within deadlines, either independently or as part of a team. Interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and suppliers, while effectively communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees.

Responsibilities

Receive goods via UPS/FEDEX/LTL, including removing skids from LTL trucks.

Verify product counts upon receipt and move them into inventory locations using ERP software.

Count and pick products from inventory using ERP software.

Move products to the press for production.

Maintain physical inventory counts and manage cycle and annual physical inventories.

Utilize UPS Worldship and FEDEX Ship Manager for small package shipping.

Prepare, manage, and store daily shipments via UPS/FEDEX.

Load LTL trucks for outgoing shipments.

Manage LTL pallets, including building, storing, and removing.

Essential Skills

Experience in inventory management, shipping, and receiving.

Proficiency with ERP systems.

Ability to operate packing, picking, and pallet jack equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

At least five years of experience in a warehouse setting using shipping and receiving skills.

At least three years of experience with ERP or inventory software management.

Working knowledge of WIP, FIFO, cycle counts, and physical inventory.

Ability to perform repetitive duties for 8 hours in a fast-paced environment.

Capability to perform heavy lifting, overhead reaching, heavy pushing, climbing, and standing for 8 hours daily.

Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing environment with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The role involves physical activities such as heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Emmaus, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
