As a Platform Engineering Consult Partner, you will play a key leadership role in identifying cloud modernization opportunities and guiding clients through complex consulting engagements. You will shape strategic change across Kyndryl’s largest accounts, work at the intersection of business and IT transformation, and leverage cutting-edge technologies to deliver intelligent, adaptive, and scalable solutions. As a Consult Partner, you will drive profitable growth, build strong client relationships, and lead your team to success. The role requires a strong presence, industry expertise, and the ability to cultivate relationships with CXO-level clients. Your leadership will foster talent development and innovation within the organization. You will collaborate with leadership from a client, account, and practice perspective. You’ll get to know our Platform Engineering team and understand their strengths, then work with account teams to identify opportunities where our strengths can help clients succeed. Responsibilities
Client Engagement: Build and maintain deep relationships with client CXOs and be seen as the go-to trusted advisor by senior executives. Leading C-level client interactions and consulting initiatives, deliverables and outputs of a deal engagement. Demonstrate credibility and experience to advise and deliver on complex consulting engagements. Enhance client satisfaction as measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) and new relationship development; secure client references. Operational Excellence: Achieve individual and team utilization targets. Lead the design of complex engagements and oversee delivery, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction. Leadership, Management, People: Lead by example, foster a culture of continuous personal and professional development, and encourage curiosity and innovation while ensuring outcomes are commercially focused and effectively executed. Strategic Contribution: Utilize industry and technology expertise to shape and drive the company’s strategic initiatives; align with Kyndryl’s vision and contribute to its execution; drive external eminence and innovation and develop thought leadership and intellectual capital. Required Skills and Experience: Extensive experience in client engagement and relationship management at the CXO level. Proven ability to build and commercialize relationships with senior executives. Proven track record of leading and executing complex cloud migration and modernization projects, including tool-driven conversions and rewriting applications. Effective financial acumen with experience in driving revenue growth and managing margins. Experience in managing or supporting high-value business development activities with senior stakeholders; a strong personal brand in the industry. Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change. Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $159,240 to $286,560 based on full-time schedule. Actual compensation may vary by geography, skills and experience. For part-time roles, compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay range will not be below applicable wage laws. There is a different compensation range for the following locations: California: $175,080 to $343,920; Colorado: $159,240 to $286,560; New York City: $191,040 to $343,920; Washington: $175,080 to $315,240; Washington DC: $175,080 to $315,240. This position is eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program based on performance. A comprehensive benefits package is provided, including medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave and paid time off. If this is a sales‑commission eligible role, you will participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
