Field Service Manager- South Bay/San Francisco – Beckman Coulter Diagnostics Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is a Danaher business. The Field Service Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics directs and leads the field service organization for the San Francisco territory, overseeing installations and implementations, preventative maintenance, all break/fix service activity, and proactive post-sales service within the defined area. This role has responsibility for the Service business P&L with direct revenue in excess of $10M and costs in excess of $5M. The position is remote–covering the San Francisco Territory and is part of the North America Field Technical Service organization. You will report to the Senior Field Service Manager – West Coast Region. Regularly visit clients and customers to maintain the customer network and develop new relationships for opportunities in partnership with the sales team Lead a team of Field Service Engineers, oversee training and professional development; set goals and objectives; lead recruitment for your team Drive P&L and operational performance around safety, compliance, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, first-time fix rate, employee satisfaction, and expense lines Collaborate with the coordination team to facilitate daily activities such as preventative maintenance (PM), modifications (MOD) and balancing daily service-call workload Manage and resolve high-pressure customer issues, including product performance issues and technical escalations Deliver impact at the NACO level by leading projects, applying DBS (Danaher Business System) to map improvement plans and create sustainable improvements The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years’ experience OR Master Degree with 7+ years’ experience 3+ years’ experience in people management (direct reports) Working knowledge of Field Customer Support, Service Contracting, and related subfields Knowledge of customer relationships and customer satisfaction methodologies Ability to travel up to 50% within the region It would be a plus if you also possess Previous 5+ years’ experience managing people Knowledge of the medical diagnostic industry – its trends, pitfalls and challenges Knowledge of diagnostic analyzers – specifications and performance standards and U.S. healthcare legislation We support flexible, remote working arrangements for eligible roles. Salary : The salary range for this role is $135,000.00-$150,000.00. This job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay and a housing allowance ($1,200/month in the Bay Area).
