Support firmware and software development projects. Work in a team environment to develop specifications of firmware and software architectures. Integrate and synthesize firmware and software for the target platform. Develop and maintain software code. Integrate software into a fully functional software system. Troubleshoot firmware and software issues. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. 3+ years of experience programming in C, C++, or C#. Experience with software development methodology. Working knowledge and/or experience in software architecture and software development. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Active Top Secret security clearance. 3+ years of experience working with FPGA embedded systems. Experience with FPGA processor or memory interconnects. Experience in embedded software development. Hardware integration and software integration experience. Experience using programming languages (VHDL, C++, Java, MATLAB). Experience with electro-optical systems (EO systems, electro optics). with experience in requirements and architecture development, software and firmware testing, and developing software requirements plans for a new program in Albuquerque, NM. The program is responsible for designing and testing advanced concepts for the US Government. This position will be responsible for requirements definition, integration and test, verification & validation of requirements, throughout the product lifecycle. This position will be responsible for all aspects of firmware/software development and test. Additional Details
