Engineering Manager - Manufacturing Automation

Austin, TX Compensation:
$160K – $175K base + annual bonus eligibility (10–15%, prorated first year) Must be U.S. Citizen or hold a Green Card No agency referrals, cannot accept C2C arrangements Overview: We are seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead process and manufacturing engineering teams. This role will oversee automation projects, equipment design, and manufacturing solutions while driving efficiency, compliance, and cost-effective operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead process and manufacturing engineers, providing direction and mentorship. Oversee automation projects from concept through production. Specify, design, install, and maintain automation equipment and tooling. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and supplier relationships. Support new product introductions with automation and assembly solutions. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and support audits. Implement Lean and cost-effective manufacturing solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. 5+ years of engineering experience, including team leadership. Strong background in process and manufacturing engineering. FDA-regulated industry experience required (Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Food, or Consumer). High-volume, automated manufacturing experience preferred (SMT a plus).
