We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Sales Engineer at Staffbase, you will play a crucial role in understanding our clients' needs, architecting solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of our employee communication and engagement platforms. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with clients across various industries. What you’ll be doing Collaborate with Account Executives to build and deliver engaging demos to prospective customers that spark excitement Work with prospective customers to find the best technical setup for their internal communications needs and remove technical obstacles to winning deals Run technical evaluations of the Staffbase platform and consult on different integration methods Consult prospects regarding our APIs, our architecture recommendations and implementation approaches Crafting and building RFP response documents which position the Staffbase product in the best possible manner You’re interfacing between sales and product to always have cutting edge industry and product knowledge and inform the product development with learnings from our prospects. As a Senior Sales Engineer you’re a role model and mentor to less experienced Sales Engineers on the team, lead by example, and have an impact on how Sales Engineers play a role in the broader sales process. What you need to be successful University degree in information science, Information Systems, Business Engineering, or equivalent technical work experience 5-10 years of experience in a similar role (SaaS pre-sales/solutions engineering/solutions consulting) Deep understanding of cloud technologies and the value proposition vs. an on-prem solution While you’re not required to be a full stack engineer, you should have a general understanding of web development and knowledge of common technologies. You shouldn’t be afraid to whip up an MVP that interacts with our APIs. Solution-focused understanding of REST APIs and how to interact with them Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and effectively communicate them to technical and non-technical people Excellent German and English communication skills (verbal, written, presentations) Expertise with web development, preferably knowledge with HTML/CSS and at least one programming language like JavaScript, Java, PHP, NodeJS Experience with enterprise software and common concepts/integrations is a plus: SAP, Workday, Single Sign-on, Active Directory, etc. Knowledge about security and compliance topics in a SaaS environment is a plus What you'll get Competitive Compensation - we offer attractive salary packages including LTIP (Long Term Incentive Plan) Flexibility - we offer flexible working time models and the option of hybrid work, and support this with a yearly flex work allowance of €1560 Growth Budget - all employees get a yearly budget for external training of €1000 and one day off for growth per year (increase to two days in 2nd year) Recharge - with 31 vacation days annually (incl. one floating holiday), plus pro rata fully paid Fridays off during August Wellbeing - Monthly Wellbeing Allowance €35, from fitness to mental health, hobbies to relaxation Support - we’re offering a company pension scheme Health - The offices are equipped with fruits, drinks and snacks and ergonomic workplaces Volunteers Day - you’ll get one day off per year for supporting a social project Employee Referral Program - one of your friends is a fit to one of our full-time openings?
