This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. You’ll work from our office at 333 Bush Street on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. You have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. What You’ll Do & How You’ll Drive Impact As the Strategic Field Marketing Manager for the West Coast AMER region (West + Canada), you will take full ownership of the integrated field strategy, acting as a strategic business partner to sales and customer success. Your primary mission is to effectively plan and execute campaigns and events that drive net new pipeline, accelerate active pipeline, and directly contribute to closed won revenue and brand affinity. This high-visibility role demands a marketer who can uncover new opportunities, move quickly, and make an immediate impact by collaboratively aligning with Sales leadership and their go-to-market teams. Success in this role also requires constant, effective collaboration across Product Marketing, Revenue Marketing, and Corporate teams. Serving as the primary marketing partner to the West Coast sales team, you will own and execute the comprehensive, high-impact regional strategy, collaborating to identify market needs and focusing heavily on target accounts to ensure alignment with pipeline and revenue goals. Act as a key marketing advocate, ensuring seamless cross-functional alignment and helping the sales team understand marketing priorities to drive maximum revenue impact. Collaborate closely with BDR teams to ensure a frictionless lead flow and coordinated pre- and post-program follow-up strategies. Maintain a seat at the table during QBRs to actively build field marketing programming in concert with all regional sales, channel, and BDR teams. Analyze Salesforce, Looker reports and dashboards to understand your region’s named accounts, sales stages, and pipeline goals, using this data to collaboratively develop targeted strategies. Plan and execute end-to-end demand generation programs (including leveraging webinars, emails, nurtures, content syndication, and paid media created by fellow marketers). Analyze and report on the business impact of all programs, including pipeline contribution, ROI, and engagement metrics, continually monitoring conversion rates and optimizing campaigns at each stage. Manage a diverse portfolio of live and virtual programs, including high-impact executive events, third-party sponsorships, hosted meetups, and regional forums. Innovate and experiment with new event formats and community touchpoints that reflect Productboard’s brand and deliver measurable business outcomes. Manage the marketing budget for your core programs. We'd love to hear from you if you have: 6+ years of experience or equivalent competency across field marketing, event marketing, and demand generation. Experience partnering directly with sales leadership and local sales teams to jointly pursue new pipeline, accelerate deals, and close business. Experience leading all phases of event execution, from strategy and budgeting to post-program analysis. Comfort with and experience in a highly data-driven marketing organization is a must. Proficiency in ABM concepts and execution, with experience leveraging data and technology to create targeted campaigns. Exceptional skills in analyzing program performance and translating metrics like pipeline, ROI, and MQLs into actionable insights. Deep passion for delivering comprehensive enablement to GTM teams in order to optimize program spend and impact. Proven ability to serve as a strategic business partner to sales leadership, influencing planning and resource allocation to achieve shared goals. Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, BDR, Customer Success to align priorities. Hands-on experience with key marketing technologies, including event platforms (Goldcast/Bizaboo), ABM tools (6sense), and business intelligence software (Looker). In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible for variable compensation, competitive equity awards, and benefits.
