Key responsibilities include: Act as a communication point with the Production Team, offering coverage and program design advice Provide market and product knowledge relevant to different classes of business Assist brokers in client meetings as needed Prepare and submit proposals to carriers for complex or hard-to-place accounts Negotiate with carriers for optimal programs for clients Oversee draft proposal preparation Finalize carrier and client coverage confirmations Maintain strong relationships with key carriers in the Strategic Market Monitor carrier performance regarding service and commissions Participate in travel and networking events with retailers and underwriters Respond to underwriters and retail producers regarding issues, delays, or discrepancies, providing resolutions Assist in training Associate Brokers Qualifications: 5+ years of insurance experience Deep knowledge of property and casualty insurance Understanding of risk selection and coverage Knowledge of sales principles, marketing strategies, and techniques What we offer: Salary based on experience Benefits starting from the first day Paternity leave, adoption assistance, travel reimbursement, retail discounts, scholarships for dependents, etc. Generous paid time off and holidays Collaborative, educational work environment Compensation range in Massachusetts: $85,000 to $100,000, with performance bonuses included.
