The Role The Senior Director, RPO Recruitment Sales leads business development efforts in Korn Ferry’s North America Projects’ and small RPO capabilities. This position will also be responsible for developing partnerships and collaborating with other leaders to conduct sales pitches for clients within various industries. Plan, develop and execute marketing and business development activities in order to achieve short and long‑term revenue and profitability goals. Work across the Company (Executive Search, Professional Search, Advisory and Interim) to develop go‑to‑market entry points by market for Projects solutions. Be the “go‑to” team member focused on marketing and business development within North America Projects’ and small RPO business unit to prospect, identify, conduct and participate in sales presentations with a consultative approach. Responsible for production of external and internal collateral materials, pitch‑decks, and targeted solution narratives to the Projects market. Develop an understanding of the marketplace and competitor offerings. Work with Projects leadership team and North America Market Leaders to develop client proposals that effectively communicate relevant capabilities and value propositions plus be able to create, draft and shape the RFP. Develop, maintain and track self‑generated quarterly business development pursuit targets illustrating actions, success and opportunities. This includes assessing the validity of identified projects. Understand Projects’ offerings and be able to effectively communicate them to potential internal and external customers. Understand Projects and small RPO Solution offerings and be able to effectively communicate them to potential internal and external customers. Assist with, and lead as directed, sales‑related activities to include virtual and in‑person client presentations, proposal development and follow‑up. (Periodic travel will be required.) Complete commercial and financial pro‑forma analysis of potential projects as well as look back reviews of completed projects. 10+ years of overall business experience, with a strong preference for that experience gained in business development at talent acquisition or consulting firms. Strong commercial skillset with a demonstrated track record of performance in consultative selling Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and self‑directed. Able to manage time, prioritize with follow‑up and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to multi‑task Keen understanding of complex sells – not just transactional sales Strong verbal and written communication skills that have allowed you to sell to senior executives including C‑suite and VP level resources. Excellent presentation skills to present to C‑Suite level clients with Fortune 500 companies. Sell B2B and tech savvy to work and consult with complex selling solutions. Superior Client Service Excellence required – highly responsive with strong client‑orientation Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Bachelor’s Degree preferred with a preference for Business or Marketing concentration. Forward thinking, innovative and creative. Strong financial and business acumen. Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with learning agility. Able to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, early career to senior leadership.
