Overview

Water Resources Group (WRG) seeks a Proposal Coordinator who will manage the pursuit process, keep submissions compliant, and keep the team moving. The successful candidate will be the hub who understands the Request For Proposal (RFP) and Request For Qualifications (RFQ), turns it into a simple plan, schedules reviews, and makes sure the final package is accurate, on brand, and on time. Primary Function

The Proposal Coordinator manages the pursuit process for WRG's collaborative delivery and business development efforts. This role reads the solicitation, extracts requirements, develops a usable outline and checklist, coordinates reviews, ensures compliance, facilitates content creation with subject-matter experts, and oversees on-time submittal. The Coordinator also maintains the submission and content history, manages company resumes and photos, and maintains inventory of materials used for hard copy submissions. Educational Background and Certifications

Bachelor's degree in related field (business, marketing, engineering, technical writing or editing, etc.) - equivalent work experience accepted. Practical Knowledge

Business development strategies, project pursuit concepts, design tools and applications, proposal content and layout, customer relations, marketing and proposal principles, business development marketing materials, basic brand standards, technical writing, content editing, proofreading, deadline management. Work Experience

2-5+ years in proposal development, project coordination, grant writing, marketing, journalism, administration, or other deadline-driven and compliance coordination roles preferred. Computer Software or Applications Applied

Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Microsoft Suite including PowerPoint, Teams, and OneDrive. Successful Personality Traits

Creative, approachable, and personable analytic thinker with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate concisely in person, by telephone, or by email while consistently applying common sense and the ability to proactively organize workload and manage deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously.
