Are you known for your equipment operation skills and passionate about warehouse logistics and organization? Do you enjoy working in a clean and efficient warehouse environment? If so, this opportunity involves managing loading/unloading of freight and contributing to safe and efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities
Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times. Manage cargo from incoming trucks by hand, with manual equipment (hand truck, pallet jack), or using forklift. Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received; decide to refuse or accept with notation. Record receipts on appropriate forms/log books and verify proper documentation. Sort cargo by account or destination and store in proper location; label freight to destination. Perform forklift duties and learn to containerize basic loads. Monitor warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors and storing equipment. Qualifications
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience; 1 year industry experience preferred. Credentials: Forklift Driver Certification; Valid state driver’s license preferred. Skills: Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds; ability to drive/operate heavy equipment; basic math and documentation skills. Characteristics: Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs; works well in a team; able to identify and resolve problems; able to read and complete basic checklists and forms.
