Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 18 months of experience in specialty required, 2 years preferred License: Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) preferred Certifications: AHA ACLS and BLS required; RCIS also preferred Must-Have: - Candidates must be nicotine-free, with no exceptions. - Negative 10 panel drug screen with cotinine required. Description: We are seeking a dedicated team player with experience in a cardiac cath lab. The ideal candidate will have expertise in scrub technologist responsibilities specific to the cath lab. The position involves performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including PCI and PTCA, while maintaining sterile technique. Candidates should possess skills in equipment setup and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias. Flexibility with weekend and call requirements can be discussed with management. Candidates may be required to float within scope to meet facility needs. All time-off requests must be submitted upfront as any requests made later will likely not be approved. All applicants must have been nicotine-free and pass a drug screening prior to starting. In orientation, candidates will need to complete EKG and pharmacy tests, with a maximum of two attempts allowed for each. Study materials will be provided for preparation.
