Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
This is a contract role that will last until the end of the year. Under the supervision of a supervisor, the General Laborer will act as a utility helper assisting various departments as needed. Tasks will include wrapping mandrels in the wrapping room, packaging products for shipping, deburring/shaving products, assisting with plant clean-up, and any other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
Work in the packing department, standing for 8 hours a day, packing and sealing products such as O-Rings, hydraulic seals, rotary shaft seals, oil seals, static seals, pneumatic seals, and mechanical face seals into boxes.
Wrap mandrels or sheets on a standard bath.
Train to use micrometers and calipers.
Enter jobs on the work order, follow WOT instructions, and select parts for wrapping.
Enter jobs on the computer, print labels, and check counts.
Remove mandrels using proper equipment.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Count parts and package accordingly.
Deburr parts using a safety razor.
Perform miscellaneous tasks as required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
