Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activities Aide to join our team at Pomeroy Living Sterling Skilled. The Activities Aide will be responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, and implementing of recreational activities for our residents. This individual will work closely with the Activities Director to create engaging programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation. Responsibilities: Assist in planning and implementing a variety of recreational activities for residents Encourage resident participation in activities and events Provide one-on-one support to residents who may need assistance during activities Maintain a clean and organized activity area Document resident participation and feedback Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team environment Passion for enriching the lives of others through engaging activities
