CMS Energy is seeking two motivated individuals to join our team as Electric Scheduling Administrative Support I professionals. This position is responsible for providing administrative assistance to support the scheduling and coordination of electric-related projects and resources.
Position Overview: You will play a vital role in maintaining efficient workflows and supporting internal communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and organization of scheduling packets and documentation.
- Submit and track Miss Dig requests to ensure safe digging practices.
- Support schedulers by managing calendars, coordinating activities, and stepping in during absences.
- Utilize internal tools and systems including SAP, Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support electric operations and scheduling.
- Perform general administrative duties to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams.
- Basic knowledge of SAP and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Associate’s Degree (not required, but a plus).
- Prior administrative or scheduling support experience, especially in utilities or engineering environments.
CMS Energy is offering a contract position through 06/01/2026 with a high potential for extension. The role is based in Jackson, MI, with a hybrid work arrangement (in-office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; remote Wednesday and Friday).
