Centralia College is currently seeking applicants for a part-time, adjunct instructor position in the American Sign Language courses.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for teaching ASL I, ASL II, and ASL III depending on the quarter.
- Place student success at the center of their courses.
- Engage with students, faculty, staff, and administrators to create a community of learners.
- Seek opportunities for teaching and learning excellence.
- Respect the richness of diverse cultural values, beliefs and practices of others.
- Align course curriculum with program learning outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies or related field; OR
- CTE Certification AND minimum of two years' teaching experience.
- Extensive coursework or experience in American Sign Language.
- Education or experience with Deaf culture and deafness.
- Relevant teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in ASL and/or Deaf Studies
- College teaching experience
Conditions of Employment: Centralia College faculty are represented by the Centralia College Federation of Teachers, Local No. 4469, AFT/AAFL-CIO.
Compensation: Current lecture/lab rates ($963.57 - $1,401.40 per credit)
