Overview

Truck Driver role at CHS Inc. CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness owned by farmers, ranchers and cooperatives. The position involves delivering product locally from one CHS facility to another for further processing. The typical schedule is Monday–Friday, daytime hours, with potential shifts to later shifts, weekends, or holidays based on business needs. This role is eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus: $1,500 after 30 days and an additional $1,500 after 1 year in the role.

Location: Mankato, MN. Base pay range is $24.90/hr - $39.81/hr.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and on-time deliveries to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement, and hours of service.
  • Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.
  • Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate hazards and correct unsafe actions or conditions or seek assistance as needed.
  • Assist warehouse staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • Class A CDL
  • 2+ years of CDL driving experience
  • Must meet minimum age requirement
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals

Additional Qualifications

  • Tanker and Air Brake endorsements
  • Must meet DOT and Company requirements
  • Ability to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays to meet business demands
  • Bulk liquid experience preferred
  • Pre-employment screening may be required per job requirements and industry guidelines (drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 80 lbs, walk, stand, sit, bend, and kneel
