Accountant | On-site – Bloomington, MN - (All candidates must be currently located in Minnesota).

A growing organization in the Healthcare industry is seeking a full-cycle Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This role offers exposure to full-cycle accounting activities along with the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of healthcare operations and profitability drivers.

This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys diving into the business, analyzing results, and collaborating cross-functionally to support both finance and operations.

What you’ll do:

• Perform full-cycle accounting duties: journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close.
• Support weekly payroll processes, including reconciliations and analysis of all-in payroll costs.
• Partner with real estate management teams to understand staffing, chargebacks, and expense trending.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting by analyzing GL activity, variances, and incentive accruals.
• Research profitability trends and provide clear explanations of financial results to management.
• Contribute to year-end close, audit support, and compliance requirements.
• Leverage Excel and accounting systems to streamline processes and reporting.

What we’re looking for:

• Associates' or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of corporate accounting experience (Healthcare Industry Experience is a big plus).
• Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting and month-end close.
• Payroll process knowledge and experience with incentive accruals and cost allocations.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) and ERP system experience.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to communicate results clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with curiosity to learn beyond the numbers.
