EPC Services Company . EPC Services Company, a leading power/utility engineering consultant and construction firm, has an immediate opening for a full-time Project Manager in Billings, MT. This is a professional project management position for individuals with strong skills related to the proactive and effective management of construction for high/medium-voltage power delivery projects. The project manager provides leadership in Engineering, Procurement and Construction of turnkey projects (EPC) and reports to the branch manager/Senior Project Manager. Occasional travel may be required for monitoring and controlling construction projects. The successful applicant may be assigned to work with assistant project managers depending on program or project requirements. Responsibilities
Provide leadership and management in the execution of EPC projects (engineering, procurement, and construction) for turnkey delivery. Manage programs for large clients, including EPC project scheduling, scope definition and change management. Oversee structured project communications, project financial controls, bidding/proposal responses, and procurement/purchasing. Oversee safety management, direction of field construction, and general administrative tasks. Mentor and train assistant project managers. Ensure adherence to project budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management. 5+ years of project management experience with complex projects over $5 million, or a combination of education and experience in high-voltage electrical systems; prior experience in electrical design of substations/switchyards is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint); experience with Vista (Viewpoint) software is a plus. Ability to travel occasionally; may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checks; auto insurance requirements may apply.
