Base pay range $128,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr
Role: The AML Analytics Senior Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Anti-Money Laundering Analytics program, including model development, validation, optimization, and AML system integration, to effectively combat financial crime. The role also involves AML governance initiatives such as risk assessments and audits.
Key responsibilities include:
Facilitating AML model development, implementation, and validation across multiple product lines.
Maintaining and configuring AML vendor solutions for optimal performance.
Researching and evaluating large data sets for quality and suitability for AML modeling.
Designing advanced AML models using machine learning and statistical methods.
Ensuring AML compliance and regulatory requirements are integrated into model design.
Documenting modeling methodologies and validation results.
Leading governance and quality control throughout the AML model lifecycle.
Supporting documentation and review processes for internal and external audits.
Developing governance documentation for AML transaction monitoring tuning efforts.
Tracking and reporting model performance and tuning results.
Developing AML metrics dashboards.
Advising the AML Governance Unit with data for risk assessments and audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant fields such as Statistics, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
12+ years in finance focusing on BSA/AML, OFAC, or fraud analytics.
Proficiency in SQL, R, and/or Python; experience with cloud and distributed systems.
Experience leading AML governance initiatives and regulatory compliance.
Effective communication skills across organizational levels.
Knowledge of AML regulations and the USA PATRIOT Act.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and data monitoring systems.
Familiarity with cloud data infrastructure, automation, virtualization, and containerization technologies.
CAMS certification preferred.
