The Harris Williams M&A Boot Camp is an intensive two-week internship program based out of Richmond, Virginia headquarters. The program is scheduled for May 4-15, 2026. Boot Camp is designed for rising seniors to simulate the fast-paced and demanding environment in which a full-time Analyst is expected to perform. Note you must apply on the Harris Williams’ Workday site to be considered for the internship, and you must complete all requirements.

What We Look For Harris Williams hires individuals who are motivated by challenge, demonstrated through academic performance combined with involvement outside the classroom, which can include: participation in sports, student led organizations, or work experience while completing a degree. No specific academic major is required; however, the following skillsets are desired: Excel
– Understanding of formulas, data validation, macros, tables, conditional formatting Accounting
– Working understanding of how the income statement, cash flow statement and balance sheet connect and willingness to deepen subject matter expertise over time Problem solving

Quality check your work and the work of your teammates to ensure accuracy before handing up the chain Seek feedback from your teammates/peers during and after key deliverable completion Ask “What’s next?” and work ahead instead of waiting for direction from your team
Articulate thoughts and ideas to your teammates on day 1, both verbally and in writing
As you gain confidence through experience, speak up during internal (Harris Williams deal team/colleagues) and external (client/C-suite facing) discussions, as directed by your deal team
Other Requirements Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
