Overview Who we are: In 1998, we were stuck behind desk jobs we didn’t like … and we were miserable. So we quit. We started chasing the American Dream and built Vineyard Vines with a focus on community, fun, and providing a great customer experience. This role supports store leadership and helps develop the team into Brand Ambassadors while delivering a memorable shopping experience.
What You’ll Do
Generate sales to help the store meet/exceed financial goals by creating memorable customer interactions.
Host the party and communicate Vineyard Vines core values to customers through the team.
Regularly exemplify core values: Passion, Service, Integrity, Commitment, Teamwork and Fun.
Execute the fundamentals of the “door to floor” concept from receiving shipments to setting the floor with new inventory.
Focus on people development and training—provide ongoing coaching and onboarding on product, presentation and process.
Responsible for opening and closing the store.

Division of Responsibility (DOR) Overview In addition to role responsibilities, you may take on a Division of Responsibility (DOR). DORs are a set of distinct responsibilities assigned to leaders to ensure clarity around execution and development. DORs rotate and are not a title.
Requirements
Minimum one year of retail leadership or equivalent experience
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Charismatic personality and love for the Vineyard Vines brand and community
Proven track record in driving sales with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Experience leading and mentoring a team
Team-focused, confident and professional
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements As an employee at a Vineyard Vines retail location, you must be able to:
Stand and/or move around for extended periods
Reach, carry, bend, and climb ladders occasionally
Lift up to 40 pounds (accommodations available upon request)
Scheduling Requirements
Weekend availability required – scheduling dependent on business needs
20-30 hours/week on average to maintain part-time status
Seasonal stores: 25-40 hours/week on average during peak periods
