Supplier Quality Engineer (Associate, Experienced, or Senior)

– Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) in Everett, Washington. The role focuses on ensuring supplier quality through the development and execution of quality plans, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

Research contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation. Develop sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements. Analyze capability assessments to support supplier selection activities. Participate in reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Perform data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provide material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Compile performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Work under general supervision. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

Level 2: 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. Experience working in a quality job role. Experience working with Quality Standards. Experience with ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusions. Experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventive Action, Root Cause Analysis. Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)

Project management experience. Experience in the aerospace industry. Experience with risk assessment methodologies and supplier audits (e.g., FMEA, system, product, and process audit assessment). Experience with office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office). Ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations. Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process. Experience with quality tools and processes such as inspection plans, control plans, and measurement system analysis (MSA). Experience with statistical product acceptance and review of supplier statistical plans. Experience with Engineering Process Improvement Methods (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma). Experience leading cross-functional teams. Ability to present technical findings to various levels of leadership. Additional Details
