Senior (Level 4) Supplier Quality Engineer

to join our team in

Everett, Washington . Responsibilities

Research contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation. Develop sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Analyze capability assessments to support supplier selection activities. Participate in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Perform data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provide material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions. Compile performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Work under general supervision. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

Level 2: 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. Experience working in a quality job role. Experience working with Quality Standards. Experience reading, understanding, and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusions. Experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventive Action, Root Cause Analysis. Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)

Project management experience. Experience in the aerospace industry. Experience with risk assessment methodologies and supplier audits (e.g., FMEA, system, product, and process audit assessment). Experience with office tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources. Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process. Experience with quality tools and processes such as inspection plans, control plans, and measurement system analysis (MSA). Experience with Statistical Product Acceptance and review of supplier statistical plans. Experience with Engineering Process Improvement Methods: knowledge of producibility and process improvement methodologies (e.g., SPC, 6-Sigma). Experience leading cross-functional teams. Ability to present technical findings to various levels of leadership. Drug Free Workplace
