Mobile Crisis Management involves providing all necessary support, services, and treatments for crisis response, stabilization, and prevention. These services are available 24/7/365, offering timely evaluation, triage, and access to mental health, developmental disability, and substance abuse services. The goal is to reduce symptoms and harm, guiding individuals in crisis to appropriate stabilization and detoxification services, including immediate telephone assessments. Responsibilities
Supervise Mobile Crisis Management staff in providing 24/7 crisis response. Conduct immediate telephonic assessments and face-to-face responses as needed. Develop and revise Crisis Plans for new or existing clients. Monitor psychiatric and addiction symptoms. Maintain proper documentation and authorizations. Coordinate discharge planning and community re-entry post-hospitalization or residential services. Ensure staff training requirements are met. Report changes in client conditions, incidents, or suspected abuse to the appropriate personnel. Familiarize with agency policies, HIPAA regulations, and ensure consumer rights and confidentiality. Operate necessary office equipment and keep training current. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any field with four years of full-time MH/DD/SA experience, or a substance abuse professional with supervised experience in alcohol/drug counseling. Valid NC Driver's License and at least 8 years of driving experience. Minimum one year of crisis management experience in settings like assertive outreach, emergency departments, or 24/7 response services. QP status and supervisory experience in mental health preferred. Ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 25 pounds. Additional Details
