Mobile Crisis Management involves providing support, services, and treatments necessary for crisis response, stabilization, and prevention. Services are available 24/7, 365 days a year, offering timely evaluation, triage, and access to mental health, developmental disability, and substance abuse services. The role includes immediate telephone assessment, face-to-face response, crisis plan development, symptom monitoring, documentation, discharge planning, and maintaining training requirements. Responsibilities include supervising Mobile Crisis Management staff, ensuring proper documentation and authorizations, coordinating care and discharge planning, and adhering to policies and regulations including HIPAA. The supervisor must also ensure consumer rights and safety, participate in staff meetings, and report any incidents or changes in consumer condition. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any field with four years of post-bachelor’s MH/DD/SA experience, or a substance abuse professional with four years of supervised experience in alcohol and drug counseling. Valid NC Driver's License and at least 8 years of driving experience. Minimum of one year experience in crisis management settings such as assertive outreach, emergency departments, or similar 24/7 response environments. QP status and supervisory experience in mental health preferred. Ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 25 pounds.
