Mammography Technologist

Salary: $3342 / Week The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. The Mammography Technologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breast tissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results. The Mammography Technologist helps detect breast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment and survival. Minimum Requirements: Current State License or Certificate in state where they will be working One (1) year of experience as a Mammography Technician preferred. Current CPR if applicable TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Mammography Tech – Travel Assignment – Palo Alto, CA Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Mammography Technologists for a 13-week travel assignment at a leading healthcare facility in Palo Alto, California . Position Details: Location: Palo Alto, CA Start Date: October 13 Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for extension) Shift: Days Schedule: 5x8s (Monday–Friday), 40 hours/week Weekly Pay: $3,342/week Taxable Income: $1,354/week Stipends: $1,988/week (housing + meals/incidental) Requirements: Minimum 3 years of Mammography Tech experience CRT – California Radiologic Technologist License MAM – Mammography Certification BLS – Basic Life Support Certification EPIC EMR experience Why Palo Alto?
