Mammography Technologist - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Shift: 5x8 Days
Pay:
$2,754.00/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Position Summary The Mammography Technologist performs high‑quality breast imaging procedures to assist in the detection and diagnosis of breast disease. This role requires technical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams following established protocols.
Position patients accurately to obtain optimal images while ensuring comfort and dignity.
Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring compliance with quality control standards.
Educate patients about the procedure and address any questions or concerns.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate results.
Adhere to radiation safety and infection control guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
License/Certification:
Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography (ARRT (M))
State licensure as required
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of mammography experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in mammography imaging techniques and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and image quality.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
