Experience
2+ Years of experience in a recruiting coordinator or similar role focused on sourcing, interviewing, and selecting top talent, preferably in the construction industry.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Summary
Seeking a proactive and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for managing the recruitment lifecycle-from sourcing and attracting top talent to interviewing for assigned roles. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand departmental needs, manage candidate pipelines, and deliver qualified candidates.
Primary Responsibilities
NEEDS ASSESSMENT Meet with Recruiting Manager to understand assigned recruiting opportunities Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements, team dynamics, and culture fit SOURCING
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates Utilize various channels (LinkedIn, job boards, social media, employee referrals, etc.) to connect with potential candidates Review and screen resumes Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs Manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously INTERVIEWING
Conduct initial phone screens or virtual level 1 interviews to assess candidate qualifications, motivation, and cultural alignment Schedule/coordinate and attend interviews between candidates and internal stakeholders Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process OUTREACH
Support the Recruitment Manager with outreach opportunities (philanthropic events, local competitions, etc.). to build brand awareness. Participate in external hiring events (career fairs and trade school event) DOCUMENTATION & DATA
Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidates and keep accurate records Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to create compelling job descriptions and postings Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to the Recruitment Manager Stay current on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent acquisition best practices Other duties as assigned

Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to remain flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient Innovative problem-solving skills/Strategic thinker High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Experience sourcing candidates via LinkedIn and other platforms. Strong analytical mindset with experience tracking recruitment KPIs. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus. Excellent calendar management skills Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite & office equipment Ability to maintain high energy and professionalism Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
