In this role, the Interim Compensation Consultant will be responsible for overseeing year-end compensation processes, including merit, bonus, and profit-sharing. The role will also involve compensation analysis, benchmarking, pay structure evaluations, and reporting. The consultant will work closely with HR and leadership teams to deliver timely and accurate results, leveraging advanced Excel skills and compensation tools to provide actionable insights and support organizational goals.
Worksite Location:
Hybrid; 2–3 days onsite per week in Minneapolis, MN. Salary Range:
Hourly rate between $70-$80, DOE. Benefits:

Lead year-end compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, and profit-sharing programs Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to ensure competitiveness Maintain and evaluate pay structures, titling, and salary bands Provide analysis and recommendations using compensation survey data Manage short-term and long-term incentive processes, including agreements and reporting Create and distribute compensation reports with advanced Excel tools Partner with HR and leadership to ensure alignment and delivery of compensation practices Required Skills & Experience:
Strong background as a Compensation Analyst/Consultant with year-end process expertise Advanced Excel proficiency – pivot tables, V-lookups, and large dataset management Experience with compensation benchmarking, pay structures, and survey data analysis Familiarity with incentive plans (STI/LTI) and compensation agreements Knowledge of HRIS systems such as Payscale, Workday, or similar tools preferred Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a seasonal, fast-paced environment Versique is an equal-opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
