We are seeking a Total Rewards professional to step into a key interim role during an exciting period of transition and growth for our client. This position offers the chance to provide both strategic insight and hands-on support, shaping total rewards programs that enhance employee experience and align with organizational goals. The Interim Total Rewards Consultant will provide strategic and hands-on support across compensation, benefits, and leave programs. This role will help guide the organization through key transitions, including outsourcing leave administration, managing benefits renewals, and shaping competitive & creative employee offerings. Minneapolis, MN – Hybrid Salary Range:

Hourly rate between $65-$75, DOE Benefits:

Partner with HR leadership to shape and implement total rewards strategy, including benefits, compensation, and leave programs Support outsourcing of leave administration (LOA, PFL) and ensure seamless vendor transition Evaluate current benefits programs and recommend innovative, competitive offerings to attract and retain talent Oversee annual open enrollment process, including communications, employee education, and vendor coordination Collaborate with Finance and HR to align total rewards with organizational goals and budget Manage broker and vendor relationships to optimize benefits delivery and cost efficiency Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to benefits and compensation Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of progressive experience in total rewards, with expertise in both compensation and benefits Strong background in leave administration, outsourcing, and vendor management Proven success in designing and implementing creative and competitive benefits strategies Knowledge of compliance requirements, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, and COBRA Experience collaborating with brokers, consultants, and carriers Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with HR systems; Workday experience preferred Versique is an equal-opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
