DEFINITION:

Under the guidance of the CTE Director, the CTE Program Specialist will assist instructors by supporting dual enrollment initiatives through data management and collaboration with postsecondary partners, coordinating certification planning and reporting, and assisting with the planning and documentation of work-based learning opportunities. The CTE Program Specialist will ensure accuracy in reporting, streamline processes for dual enrollment, credentialing, and WBL experiences, and provide consistent communication and logistical support to enhance program efficiency, compliance, and growth, ultimately allowing teachers to focus on instruction while strengthening student outcomes across all CTE programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics. TASKS: Coordinates and monitors dual enrollment programs across district CTE sites; supports registration, liaises with postsecondary partners to track enrollment and completion, and provides stakeholders with timely updates and deadlines. Collaborates with staff to identify new opportunities, evaluate partnerships, and assist with planning, documentation, and reporting, ensuring consistent processes across schools.

Monitors, tracks, and supports the attainment of CCRI and Perkins performance measures. Coordinates with the CTE Director, site administration, and Pima JTED to verify and report industry credential data accurately and in compliance with ADE requirements. Ensures credentialing records are organized and reflected in CCRI calculations, and develops timelines, resources, and communication strategies to assist instructors with certification planning and promote student success. Supports Technical Skills Assessment (TSA) exam planning and logistics.

Supports the planning, coordination, and documentation of work-based learning (WBL) opportunities; assists instructors and site coordinators with site agreements, evaluations, and employer communications; standardizes internships, job shadows, and guest speaker processes to align with ADE guidelines; monitors student participation, maintains accurate records, and collaborates with employers, instructors, and students to expand access to meaningful WBL experiences and strengthen workforce readiness.

Provides centralized support to instructors and administrative staff to enhance program efficiency, accuracy, and growth; ensures timely reporting to district leadership, assists with compliance monitoring and program documentation, and contributes to program expansion by identifying opportunities, addressing gaps, and supporting innovation in CTE initiatives; performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS: Knowledge of District, State, and Federal CTE policies and compliance requirements. Knowledge of CCRI and Perkins performance measures and reporting standards. Knowledge of credentialing, dual enrollment, and work-based learning processes. Skill in collecting, analyzing, and reporting data accurately. Skill in organizing records, timelines, and program documentation. Skill in effective written and oral communication with instructors, administrators, and partners. Skill in coordinating multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work independently and collaboratively to support program goals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work is performed in an indoor environment. Work requires frequent sitting, repetitive motion, vision to monitor, and may require some lifting.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree Experience may include any allowable combination of relevant work experience in Career and Technical Education, program coordination, data management, or related program support. Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree
