Virginia Transformer is seeking a skilled Application Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is crucial for ensuring the design and development of high-quality transformer solutions that meet customer specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical engineering, experience in power systems, and a commitment to delivering innovative and reliable products. Responsibilities Product Costing and Customer Proposal: Analyze customer specifications and requirements to design transformers that meet their specific needs and regulatory standards. Collaborate with design engineers and project managers to develop practical and cost-effective engineering solutions. Prepare customer Product Costing with In-house Tools. Manage Time for various activities related to Quotation process Coordinate efforts between designing and manufacturing department regarding customer needs. Customer And Project Management Serve as the technical liaison between the company and customers, ensuring clear communication of specifications and expectations. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and documentation, ensuring compliance with both internal and external requirements. Share the Quotation package with Project Management Office in case of Order and complete System entry for the order. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in electrical power systems, particularly in transformer design and application. Strong understanding of industry regulations and safety standards pertaining to electrical and power engineering. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner. Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail and precision. Preferred Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Basic Knowledge on Electrical Concepts. Experience working in the transformer manufacturing industry or similar.
