Job Details: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) Compliance Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position with an opportunity to make a significant impact on the well-being of our employees and the environment we operate in. The EHS Compliance Manager will be primarily responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all local, state, and federal EHS regulations, and will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety and sustainability within our organization.
Responsibilities: 1. Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards including OSHA, EPA, Mass DEP, US EPA, DHS, etc. 2. Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 3. Develop and maintain EHS training programs for all employees, and conduct regular training sessions. 4. Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. 5. Maintain all EHS documentation and records, ensuring their accuracy and completeness. 6. Collaborate with all levels of management to develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. 7. Stay up-to-date with all relevant EHS regulations and standards, and advise management on any changes that could impact the company's operations. 8. Develop and manage a system for tracking and reporting on EHS performance metrics. 9. Participate in the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role within the Manufacturing industry. 3. Comprehensive knowledge of EHS regulations and standards including OSHA, EPA, Mass DEP, US EPA, DHS, etc. 4. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation is preferred. 5. Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS programs and initiatives. 6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough investigations and root cause analysis. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels. 8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 9. Proficient in the use of EHS management systems and Microsoft Office applications. 10. Experience with document control and record keeping.
