IT Manager

Basic Duties And Responsibilities Develop and manage IT projects, as necessary, to provide business solutions that support the strategic objectives defined by steering committee. Collaborate with other ITC departments in providing solutions to facilitate improved efficiencies related to technology, wherever possible. Research and suggest enhancements in all areas of IT responsibility to meet changing business needs, and to improve system availability and reliability. Communicate relevant IT related information to the senior management steering committee, participate in management planning meetings, and respond and act on senior management direction. Coordinate and supervise IT support initiatives for core business applications, network infrastructure, and telephone equipment. Manage all IT help desk related activities and prioritize the workload of an internal and external team of network administrators and business systems analysts. Interact with internal and external customers, at all levels, to help resolve IT related issues in a timely manner. Oversee daily user support and troubleshooting associated with JD Edwards OneWorld/EnterpriseOne and additional business application software systems. Oversee the administration and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including network security, and assist in the planning and implementation of major modifications to the infrastructure. Oversee the maintenance of data backup systems, archiving, and disaster recovery. Develop and maintain all IT related policies and procedures. Oversee all changes and upgrades to the ITC telephone equipment. Manage the purchase of all software, hardware, and other IT related supplies and services. Maintain effective communication with the user community and serve as the main point of contact on all IT related matters. Oversees SOX compliance for IT related activities Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree Demonstrated success managing and interacting with internal and external customers. Good communication and documentation skills Experience managing IT purchasing Knowledge in the following areas is not necessary but is a plus: JD Edwards OneWorld/EnterpriseOne knowledge Sarbanes-Oxley compliance Equal Opportunity Employer
