Job Overview:

Raw Material Planner is responsible for managing the supply and inventory of raw materials needed for production processes. This role involves forecasting material requirements, creating and maintaining purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring materials are delivered on time to meet production schedules. The planner works closely with CSR / Sales teams to avoid shortages or delays and helps optimize inventory levels to reduce costs.

Key responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, tracking material usage, analyzing demand, and maintaining accurate records of raw material stock. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are essential to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout the production process.

Responsibilities:

Adopt and execute planning strategies for materials and suppliers Implement, track and update planning parameters in ERP system (LT, Coverage, ABC, XYZ, MOQ, Calendars, Safety stock etc.) Track suppliers performance (OTIF, response, communication and flexibility, supplier score card) with regular feedback and escalation towards supplier and purchasing organization Periodic analysis of inventory strategies (i.e. min - max) and update of ABC-XYZ analysis with proposal for inventory optimization and alignment with defined targets for period. Work on continuous improvement of process and inventory levels, track, update escalate if MRP calculations are not in line with reality (qty, planned delivery/collection time and date) Support logistic project related to optimization of warehouse space, material flow and transportation. Support suppliers in implementation and understanding Logistic requirements of NDS Take a part in MPS meeting and support process with providing supply constraint data and risk for delivery of planned production plan and provide actions to close gap. Provide suppliers with forecast, material release and production release data according to NDS Logistic requirements Tracks and updates delivery dates to ensure materials arrive when needed, with no excess or shortage of inventory Ensures material is delivered and received at the source of use in timely manner. Creates procurement requests from the MRP system to deliver components on time in alignment with production. planning requirements and sales forecast (min/max) Accelerates and redeploys open procurement requests in order to meet production planning requirements, sales forecast and track and update suppliers confirmations of deliveries Report major deviations and define action plans with logistic and purchasing teams. Monitors and analyzes forecasts and put special focus on long lead time materials and suppliers -Ensure that major changes in production planning for short and mid term are communicated to critical suppliers Supports Project Managers when launching new projects/products (SOP) and follow up and setup supply strategies for materials set for end of production (EOP) and engineering change. Manages inventory and requirement levels with appropriate feedback to logistics and planning on risks related to availability and stock coverage. Regularly reports to the immediate superior and is responsible for the reliability of the data. Adheres to the ethical principles of the profession and acts in accordance with the company's policy and procedures. Performs other tasks within the framework of his professional qualification at the request of his immediate superior. He is obliged and responsible, within the scope of his work, for the implementation of measures for safe and healthy. work in accordance with the Law on Safety and Health at Work, other regulations in the field and the Collective Agreement for Safety and Health at Work, Respects environmental and fire protection measures within the scope of his work, Participates in ensuring the functioning of the quality system in accordance with quality standards.

Position Requirements: Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 2-5 years

of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or inventory planning, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.Experience with

raw material procurement ,

inventory management , and

demand forecasting .

F amiliarity with

ERP systems

(Syspro preferable). Licenses/Certifications: N/A. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong organizational skills

to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

Analytical skills

to interpret data, forecast material requirements, and resolve issues.

Attention to detail

in managing inventory, tracking materials, and ensuring accurate records.

Communication skills

to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.

Problem-solving ability

to identify issues in material supply or inventory and come up with solutions.

Knowledge of supply chain principles

and inventory control techniques.

Expert in Microsoft Office Suite , particularly Excel (for data analysis and reporting) pivot tables, vlookups, xlookups,etc.

Proactive and results-oriented

with a focus on meeting production deadlines and minimizing material shortages.

Adaptability

to work in a fast-paced environment with changing demands. Team player

with the ability to collaborate across departments, including production, purchasing, and logistics.
