About the Role:
The Warehouse Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all materials are handled safely and in compliance with company policies. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to prevent errors and maintain the integrity of stock levels. Ultimately, this role contributes to the overall success of the warehouse by supporting smooth operations.
Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming shipments to verify contents and condition. Organize and store materials in designated locations to maximize space utilization and accessibility. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve warehouse processes and resolve operational issues. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic experience in warehouse operations or material handling. Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts ( Preferred ). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments. Previous experience in a distribution or logistics setting. Basic computer skills including data entry. Forklift operator certification. ( Preferred)
