Our non-profit client in Wauwatosa is seeking a
temp to hire, part-time HR Generalist
to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years' experience with onboarding, recruitment, benefits, employee relations, and compliance. Experience with UKG software is a plus. This role is approximately 20 hours per week. Please apply for immediate consideration. Hours:
Approximately 20 hours per week and ideally 4-5 day per week during a standard business week 100% on-site in Wauwatosa RESPONSIBILITIES
Foster employee engagement across field and admin teams Manage onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day HR needs Support UKG implementation and ensure accurate HR data Advise on employee relations and compliance matters Assist with recruitment, benefits, and training initiatives Lead or support HR projects to improve culture and processes Ad hoc HR projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of HR experience (nonprofit or service-oriented preferred) Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment law UKG or HRIS experience preferred Empathetic, organized, and responsive communicator Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred or equivalent experience
