Disaster Recovery Program Multi-Disciplinary Support Specialist
Plexos Group is assembling a dynamic, mission-driven team to support a statewide disaster recovery initiative. We are seeking experienced professionals with expertise across a wide range of emergency management and recovery services. This opportunity is part of a program aimed at building a comprehensive support network to bolster Kentucky’s resilience and recovery efforts.
Who We're Looking For:
We invite individuals with proven capabilities in one or more of the following areas:
SEOC Operations & Incident Management: Support coordination and command functions during emergency activations.
Logistics & Resource Distribution: Manage supply chains, staging areas, and transportation of critical goods.
Volunteer Coordination & Sheltering: Mobilize and manage volunteer efforts and shelter operations for displaced populations.
Public Assistance & Individual Assistance: Navigate FEMA programs and deliver aid to communities and individuals.
Hazard Mitigation & Planning: Develop strategies to reduce future disaster risks and support long-term recovery planning.
Public Information & IT Support: Deliver timely, accurate communications and maintain critical information systems.
Procurement & Declaration Requests: Facilitate emergency purchasing and support federal disaster declaration processes.
Debris Management: Coordinate safe and efficient removal of disaster-related debris.
Ideal Candidates
We’re looking for professionals who are:
Experienced in disaster recovery, emergency management, or public sector operations
Familiar with FEMA programs and state-level coordination
Adaptable, collaborative, and ready to deploy across Kentucky
Able to work under pressure in dynamic environments
Committed to community resilience and public service
