Housekeeper/Family Assistant Location:
Tribeca, NYC (6 months in Manhattan / 6 months in France) Compensation:
$85,000+ annually (depending on experience), guaranteed year-round salary Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week (flexible; set schedule when principals are in residence)
Overview: A refined couple in Tribeca is seeking a
long-term Housekeeper/Family Assistant
to maintain their 3,700 sq. ft. Manhattan residence and provide personal support. The principals split their time between Manhattan and France; when they are abroad, the schedule will be lighter but salary remains guaranteed. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who values discretion, organization, and good judgment. Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping (50%) Maintain an immaculate, well-organized home (not a messy household) Handle laundry with care-hang dry most garments and iron everything to European standards Light organization and home upkeep Monitor and care for a cat when principals are traveling Family Assistant Duties (50%)
Run errands (groceries, dry cleaning, household items) Assist with scheduling and logistics (appointments, reservations, deliveries) Oversee vendors or service providers as needed Provide occasional simple cooking or meal prep (a plus, not required) Exercise excellent judgment and discretion in all matters Requirements Prior experience as a housekeeper, family assistant, or similar role in a private home Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to iron and care for fine garments to a high standard Good communication skills and flexibility with scheduling Comfort caring for a cat Reliable, discreet, and looking for a long-term position Valid driver's license and familiarity with NYC errands preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits Salary:
