Our client is seeking a highly motivated and versatile
Senior Finance Business Analyst
with a unique combination of business analysis and product management skills. The Senior/Finance Business Analyst is responsible for identifying, assessing, and leading various process and technology improvement initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement. This role requires working closely with Finance resources and a cross-functional team from both the broader business and IT during the execution of finance transformation projects. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker who can independently translate general business requirements into achievable projects while ensuring alignment with the strategic vision of the Finance function. The successful candidate will bring direct experience in problem solving, process analysis, design, and implementation of complex solutions. Experience in finance, operations, analytics, BI reporting tools, and ERP systems is highly desirable. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Principles and practices of effective team building, team leadership, and conflict resolution. Advanced principles and practices of process improvement and workflow analysis. Knowledge of the software development life cycle and a broad range of operations, services, concepts, terms, and activities common to a strategic, state-of-the-art FinTech program. Generate regular reports on project status, key metrics, and product performance. Assist in the preparation of business cases and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of developed solutions meets business requirements. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that delivered products meet stakeholder expectations. Serve as a key member of a project team, working with cross-functional business partners to analyze, design, and implement end-to-end Finance process solutions that drive standardization, efficiency, and quality of processes to meet business requirements. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of professional experience in business analysis and product management, combined with more than 10 years of relevant finance expertise supporting the technology side of the organization. Deep understanding and 5+ years of experience working with Oracle ERP or EPM Applications, including JD Edwards or Oracle EPM Cloud. 5+ years of Lean Six Sigma experience (Green Belt required); Business Process Management experience a plus. Multiple certifications in analytics and product management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business processes into technical requirements. High attention to detail and a passion for analyzing data to derive actionable insights. Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and modeling skills, with a desire to drive evidence-based discussions and decision-making. Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills. A can-do attitude and willingness to put in the time required to get the job done. Growth mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires managing competing priorities, pivoting quickly, mentoring junior talent, and continually building streamlined processes as the company scales. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
