Job Description
TrinityRail is searching for a
Project Engineer
to join our team in Dallas, Texas. What you’ll do: Evaluate Railcar designs and products for compliance with regulatory and contractual standards. Create new railcar parts and bills of materials for various uses. Provide technical support to internal and external customers. Co-manage Base Car specifications and submit technical data packages. Support engineering process and workflow improvement initiatives. Lead engineering projects and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams. 10-15% travel as required, domestic or international. What you’ll need: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects. Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of railcars, steelwork, and welding. Experience using CAD software, such as Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD. Additional software experience, including Autodesk Vault, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Office. EOE
