Medical Device QC Inspector Lead

Adecco is currently assisting one of our clients in Valencia with a Medical Device QC Inspector Lead for a medical device manufacturing company. Responsibilities:

Tests and inspects materials and products at various stages of incoming inspection, work in progress, and final inspection.

Compiles and evaluates data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products

Oversees QC Inspectors, inspections of components and completed assemblies at various phases of production and throughout the manufacturing processes.

Distributes the workload within the QC department.

Documents nonconforming material; clearly and accurately.

Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams.

Assists with creation of inspection criteria.

Tests and/or inspects dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics per written procedures.

Prepares and maintains Quality records for review of completeness and accuracy to meet both internal and external expectations.

Records tests and inspections results.

Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from procedures.

Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.

Reviews and approves Inspection Sheets for accuracy against drawings.

Updates and maintains QC Inspection SOPs and Department Procedures.

Able to use general inspection tools (this list is not all inclusive): multi-lens stereo microscope, Micrometer, Calipers, Thread and Pin Gauges, SmartScope, Profilometer, Multisensor Measurement Systems (Keyence)

Requirements:

AA degree, or the equivalent of a two-year college or technical school

Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a Lead or Supervisory role.

Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Computer skills including, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Excellent written and oral communicational skills

Must have Keyence Programming Experience

Ability to use multi-lens Stereo Microscope and SmartScope

Ability to use measuring devices like thread and pin gauges, meters, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, and Multi-sensor Measurement Systems

Blueprint reading capabilities, documentation, and reporting skills

GD&T training/certifications

IPC 600, IPC 610 are preferred

Familiar with ISO Standards is a plus

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Ability to regularly stand or sit for long periods of time

Shifts Available:

The shift is a 1 st shift 9/80 scheduled from Monday - Friday; 7am - 4pm

Pay Details:

$32.00 to $38.00 per hour
