Order Management Specialist
Carlsbad, CA
Reporting to the Order Management Lead, the Order Management Specialist will own all aspects of order management for their assigned portfolio of accounts. The ideal candidate will have a support background within Order management or supporting sales in a similar fashion.
This individual will be liaison between Sales, Finance, Shipping, Warehouse, and Supply Chain to ensure orders are shipped complete and on time.
You will also be responsible for bringing your expertise around customer care by responding to customer emails, phone calls, or voicemails for returns, shipping status and order cancelations.
Education and Experience: HS Degree required; Associates Degree preferred 1+ years of experience in a support role cross functionally partnering with Sales, Accounting and Logistics preferred. 1+ years of experience working within an ERP such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NAV, or JD Edwards preferred. Experience supporting large retail customers in similar support role Proficient experience in MS Office, especially Excel to include Pivot Tables and V-lookups EDI transactions experience a plus Knowledge of CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment) Experience in consumer goods/electronics industry is a plus Job Responsibilities:
Works to ensure that orders are processed, released, and allocated/shipped in a timely fashion to meet order fulfillment goals of Sound United and the customer. Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with a variety of individuals within the department, company and external vendors, and customers alike Ability to work overtime as needed Exercises judgment to attach allocated product to orders, determine prioritization of picking and staging and modes of transportation that are in the best interest of the company and to meet customer specific Requested Delivery Date requirements. Uses authority to resolve customer issues including but not limited to delivery date delay, return authorizations, shipping discrepancies, credits. Keeps customers informed of order status, including any shipping delays or back-order status. Manages open orders and backorders to ensure accurate reporting. Process Return Requests in accordance with Sound United's policy and procedure. Routes customer presale and technical questions to the correct team.
Salary Range:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $24.50-$28/hr. range plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 3.5% PSP bonus based on company, department, and individual performance.
