Production Operator Location:
San Diego, CA Pay:
$17.25/hr
Monday thru Friday 6am to 230pm

Position Summary: The Production Operator utilizes a variety of production equipment and manual assembly to manufacture and package cuvette products used in medical diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble components of medical diagnostic devices in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products.
Identify and report production issues promptly to a Team Leader or Supervisor.
Maintain accurate records and documentation per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Operate production equipment such as:
Manual/semi-automated micro-fill systems
Air-dry and freeze-dry chambers
Computer vision systems
Inspection equipment
Labeling and barcode machines
Packaging and printing equipment
Keep production areas clean and organized.
Work toward achieving assigned production goals.
Prevent product/material mix-ups.
Assist with process and equipment validation as needed.
Complete daily product logbooks.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED – required
At least 6 months of manufacturing experience – highly
1–2 years of previous assembly/packaging experience
Experience in regulated medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing a plus
Familiarity with GDP and GMP standards
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Basic written and verbal communication skills
