Job Summary:
A manufacturing facility is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Technical Operator I to support the production and packaging of precision components used in laboratory and medical applications. The successful candidate will operate production equipment, perform manual assembly tasks, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate production and packaging equipment in accordance with established procedures and production schedules Perform manual assembly tasks with precision and consistency Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Perform in-process inspections and complete production documentation accurately Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent cross-contamination and product mix-ups Assist with inventory tracking through Materials Resource Planning (MRP) systems Communicate production issues and quality concerns to supervisors or team leads promptly Support validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities Contribute to achieving daily production targets and minimizing downtime Comply with all safety protocols and company policies Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in assembly or packaging within a regulated manufacturing environment Familiarity with medical device or pharmaceutical production strongly preferred Understanding of FDA regulations, GMP, GLP, and ISO standards Experience with validation processes and quality systems is a plus Basic computer skills; familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office preferred Strong attention to detail, documentation, and teamwork Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
Work Environment:
This position involves standing for extended periods, handling small components, and working in cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environments.

Compensation:
Starting at $18.75 per hour. Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
