As a caregiver, you will support residents in daily living activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring delivery of age-appropriate and compassionate care as outlined in the care plan. The role involves: Assisting with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Supporting health care needs by recording vital signs and providing psychosocial support. Engaging residents during meal times and assisting with food preparation to enhance their dining experience. Documenting resident progress and communicating any changes to the charge nurse. Maintaining cleanliness of living areas through housekeeping and laundry services. Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational programs. Qualifications We prefer candidates to have a high school diploma or GED, but this is not mandatory. You must be at least 16 years old, and prior experience as a nursing assistant in long-term care is preferred. You will need: A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification recognized by the State Board of Nursing. To complete yearly competency testing and participate in continuing education (minimum of 12 hours annually). For applicable states, certification as a registered Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP). A valid driver’s license, if required by the facility.
